"It's only words, and words are all I have, to take your heart away." —Bee Gees
This book ended up being rather awesome. For a novel that discusses homosexuality in early 20th century England it’s certainly very candid, though for today’s readers it might seem chaste. You won’t find any explicit scenes in it. But there are a lot of subtle emotions and heartfelt yearnings written beautifully. I enjoyed it better than the other Forster books that I’ve read, A Room with a View and A Passage to India.
