Belong to Me by Marisa de los Santos
Absolutely loved this. Wonderful, lyrical, heart-rending, the story switches between point of views with graceful ease. I must have been too awed by the writing to notice the hints, and when the big twist in the story came I was completely knocked off with surprise. Marisa de los Santos makes you wish you had her way with language, her wit and her ability to stir people's hearts. Highly recommended.
